Three days ago, a wagon train passed by this way…..
It was a carriage built by Carlyle and Co. of Denver
It was pulled by four horses
One was black
One was a bay
One was a pinto
One was not
The bay had one white hoof and a wall eye.
In the carriage was a fine lady from the east and her cousin both wearing black
and a gent from Colorado in a white stetson.
On top the carriage was a box of gold destined for the railroad in Tuscon
it was later stolen by bandits.
Early this morning a pigeon from Wallsend flew over here and did a poo.
How do I know all this?
