A Spring Day

One of the best days so far this year!

I spent the morning pottering around at the cottage, seeing to the donkeys and hens then with Hilary’s help, repairing some fencing that had been damaged in the recent windy weather.  Repairs done it was time for a few pictures, spring has well and truly sprung here, wild flowers and blossom all bursting into life.

Back at home this afternoon, time to get on with some gardening before the neglected borders get to bad, last year wasn’t a good one as far as the garden was concerned.  Water-logging thanks to Northumbria Water and generally feeling lousy will take a lot of putting right.

Fortunately Hilary and I had a little helper!
