Frustrating problems with our various laptops led to the purchase of an iMac.

There now follows a short interlude for the absorption of pain in the wallet!
Off to York in the morning to attend a friend’s “Pagan” naming ceremony.
Now that should be interesting.

  2. You won't regret that purchase! After purchasing a Macbook around a year ago, I won't go back to PCs. I have put Windows (Vista, alas) on a partition on it so I can access Windows stuff when I have to and I used it for work previously but life is so much less complicated with a mac. I don't know how familiar you are with them but there are a couple of really good books you can get on changing from using a PC to a Mac. If you're interested I'll let you know what they are.Enjoy the naming ceremony.PS I just got my favourite confirmation word on going to leave my comment – Bingsgut!
